This hat is a reproduction of a sailor cap from the 1940s-1950s—the style known as a "Dixie Cup" for its similarity to a small paper cup. We reproduced the original piece in heavyweight cotton twill with appliquéd patches. The cap can be worn with the brim flipped up or flipped down, like a bucket hat.
